3-D Exhibit Designer
I developed a fondness for art at a young age and have been continuously increasing my knowledge and appreciation of new mediums throughout my life. Having an electrical contractor for a father, I grew up running around job sites and have always been fascinated by the process of construction, be it a small single-family home or a multi-unit commercial site. I knew I wanted to find a career that combined my love of art and construction, and interior design was a perfect fit for me! I graduated in 2009 with a BFA and a Master’s in Interior Design from Brenau Women’s College and Brenau University, respectively, where I received the top awards for both my undergraduate design portfolio and graduate thesis project.
I have worked as a designer and project manager in various sects of the design world, where I have developed skills such as space planning, architectural design, finish selection, lighting design, graphic design, branding, and more. My proficiency with all manner of software, including AutoCAD, allows me to quickly and effectively prepare not only conceptual design plans but also detailed construction documents. I am a member of the International Interior Design Association and the American Society of Interior Designers, and I am currently studying to gain LEED accreditation.
