Loving Our Lakeshore
Our lakes and canals are lined with freshwater marsh plants that love to get their “feet” wet. This blanket of vegetation helps hold soil in place and acts as a natural water filter. It also attracts a host of life. Fish from the shore alongside little blue herons. Visit at sunset and enjoy a chorus frog serenade. Nature awaits!
